Racing legend and racing enthusiast Leif “Leif” Graham was once asked by a journalist what he would do if he was asked to move from a racetrack to a new one.
Graham said: “Well I’m going to be a bit more of a celebrity.
I don’t think you can be a celebrity in racing without being very wealthy.”
He went on to say: “So if I was asked, ‘what are you going to do if asked to be one of the top stars in racing in England’, I would say ‘I’m going with the next best thing.'”
The LeifGraham family is hoping that by the end of the decade, racecourse venues in England will offer the best entertainment in the world.
The Leibs Grahams and the Racecourse in St Andrews, which was established by Graham in 1998, are currently trying to raise $300,000 (£200,000) to build a new arena and stadium for the racecourse in the town of Hastings.
They said they hoped to have the arena ready to open in 2019.
