Racecourse employees have been told they will be sacked from their jobs on Monday following a “dramatic” increase in the number of racecourse workers injured.
The Rosehill Sports Centre will be closed from March 6th to March 7th due to the incident, according to a statement from the racecourse.
The statement said staff will be “re-employed to work elsewhere in the community, with full benefits”.
Rosehill Sports centre employees will be re-employed on March 6.
Rosehills racecourse employees who were injured in the Rose Hill incident will receive full medical and dental benefits for a period of up to six months, the statement said.
The Rosehill race course has been closed for more than two weeks due to an incident involving two employees.
