Posted March 04, 2020 09:05:10The USPS is launching its Bitcoin Courier app on Apple and Android devices.

The service will accept bitcoins as payment and deliver a Bitcoin Courier delivery letter to your mailbox, as well as provide Bitcoin Courier mailing instructions.

The USPS plans to introduce the service later this year.

The service is currently limited to the United States, with a handful of other countries, including Canada, France, Australia, New Zealand and Japan, expected to launch the service sometime in 2019.

Currently, the Postal Service only accepts PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards.

The app will also only accept Bitcoin Cash, which is the preferred currency for the USPS.
